Leaders of the G7 group of major developed nations have unanimously promised to support Ukraine in efforts to repel Russian aggression and welcomed the agreement between the United States and Iran to end hostilities that have wrought destruction throughout the mideast region and disrupted economic life around the globe.
The G7 leaders continue to face a host of daunting global challenges in a time of disruption, upheaval, and polarization – a fact the leaders acknowledged in their own statement at the conclusion of their gathering thins week.
Multilateralism was one of the key themes cited by leaders of the Church in G7 countries ahead of the June 15-17 summit in Evian-les-Bains, France.
